Should I move my light higher up?

Right now I only have a 24 inch hybrid fixture for my IM Nuvo 100g. It’s about 7 1/2 inches off the water. Should I move it up some?

Higher up = more spread but less par. I would want it higher if for no other reason than I would be afraid of splashing water on it being that close.

I moved it up about an inch, it’s 8 1/2 inches off the water now.
