how about a good ol' bump for this thread.

I would like to see behind the controller boards. how are you guys/gals doing wire management?

is it just stuff them back there as they will not been seen OR taking the time to wire each cord in to a wire rack or some other nifty thing?

please do show!

Hello,

I just purchased an Apex controller and will be using it for the 75g that I'm in the process of setting up. I do not have room inside the cabinet to fit it probably. I've seen some shots where people have attached the controller, surge controller, and other controllers/electric equipment to a board that is kept behind or beside the cabinet. So, in order to give me some ideas, would some of y'all mind posting pictures of your set ups and what you used? I though about using pegboard, but am open to all ideas!

Thanks in advance!!!

that is so me. I admit I am not the best at wire management.
I was wondering id I should mount apex on the side of my Xl750 or build a "controller board" for the back.

I sealed off the hole in the back going to the sump. I'm hoping that will keep any moisture out of the cabinet. If I start to notice any rust on anything then I will move it all to a separate cabinet. I have all of the power bricks laid out on the top shelf.

This was the setups on my Reefer 250.
I have a Waterbox 7226 now and unfortunately the space was much less. So the cabinet is not near as pretty but it is functional.

Thank you. I am very OCD about that sort of stuff. I think you will love your 5526. They make great tanks and the cabinets are very solid.
