Coming from the automotive scene where tucking and neatly organize wiring is essential in my option for a clean setup, i feel cable management/organization/hiding could be a very useful thing. I also want to segregate my apex from the sump for salt creep but keep it accessible and ascetically pleasing. There is nothing worse in my option than when you see an amazing tank with a rats nest next to it.I know reefers like broadfield have done and excellent job, I want to start a thread for people to showcase/inspire and push the envelop of whats capable in this arena.

My last stand I build a side piece for my apex and accessories, I don't have a current picture but it has too much going on for my taste, and for my next 120 build I want to really step up my game.

Started cord management and equipment placement. Now I need to finalize the equipment placement, and order the Vectra-specific driver mount, then off to plumbing.

Vortech Cord management.

Need to drill a bigger hole for the Apex Display cord. But you get the point.

Side view of the sump. More equipment and reactors to add.

but when my 3 month old doesn't let me sleep at night......well you know the rest :)

Looks good, this is what I was hoping this thread would evolve to, don't be afraid to show the cords behind the curtains per-say.

If I can offer a suggestion, I would go another route on the vortech wire management. If/when a wetside falls off the drys ides will go tumbling down and possibly break. That's is an expensive mistake to have. Even if you have tabs holding the wires where they are now they will swing like pendulums and hit one another.

Wetsides fall off a lot more than you think, I'd rather be safe than sorry with these.

This DJ switch rack has made working on my tank so much nicer. Whether it's shutting off the skimmer while feeding Coral Fenzy or the return pump and ATO during a water change, it's so much nicer than unplugging things. The door shelves were a nice addition also.

It's not mine, mine is too sloppy at this moment, it's a picture I found on a local forum.

I love the basket idea! I may have to incorporate something like this into my stand.
