Here is the latest addition. They say it's a wartskin but hard to tell in this picture. I got it from WWC and they also say this exact angler is going to be featured in an upcoming reefbuilders article so we shall see.

I'm not the expert at ID, but I have never seen a solid color warty. I thought the tell tale sign of a warty was the camo color scheme. He appears to be pretty small, so ID can be very difficult.

I've have a warty and currently I have a painted. Both were very small when I got them and they were both smooth. The "warts" didn't really grow until about 6-7 months. The painted anglers have small warts also.

I don't know if it is something on the bag, but does he have a white dot on both sides? That is a painted angler trait. See the tiny white spot on my painted? He has that on both sides.

Like I said before, looks like a painted angler because he has the white dot. Either way, he is very cool. He is glowing in the light.

I think it is a baby but I am not entirely sure.

As for getting them to eat frozen check out this thread.

Feeding video. The first minute and a half I am getting the shrimp so the inpatient can skip to 1:30 mark. At 2:03 you can see him grab one. He took down 3 shrimp so I pulled the rest out to prevent over eating. I guess I was expecting to much for him to ration his food.

That bouncy walk at the 1:30 mark might just be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Not sure if the shrimp agree...but aww how cute is this guy?!?

Since we're coming up on the 1 year mark almost here's some recent shots of Reggie. He's been upgraded from the 10g to a 30g AIO and is still quite small. He current lives with a clown pair (don't worry, they're way too big for him to eat currently) and enjoys cruising around the tank. Sometimes he even gets ambitious enough to take a swim.

My angler is on probation. This was an hour before my angler got really fat and my new blenny went missing........for good. Didn't know that the angler could choke him down.

Yep. They'll eat anything they can fit in their mouths...and some things they can't.
