Rolling into a new year and still alive. Have had this eel now for at least 16 years and guessing it is over 20 years old beings it was almost 3 feet long when I first got it back in 2004. This is a recent photo.

What a dream tank! Correct me if I’m wrong but also saw multiple pipe-fish, NPS tube anemonae, borbonius anthias? Awesome
Ventralis anthias as well. They do however munch any crab in there except the hermits.

This is my eel. At the store it was labeled as a "White Moray Eel", but from the golden speckles I'm inclined to think it's a Golden Dwarf, but it doesn't have the slitted eyes that they all seem to have.

Either way, I love this eel, and if anyone can identify it, that would be awesome.

White eyed Moray Eel
Gymnothorax thyrsoideus
I've seen brown ones and white ones
may be juvenile coloring and they grow into brown but I have no clue

Not a GDM, but interesting none the less. This is my GDM (used to be gold, now white).

Looked into it, pretty sure they are that color when a juvenile and then they will get darker as they grow
