Just saw a video that showed a couple different settings for Radion and the best setting to show how yellow they are was when they had only the cool whites on 100% and all other channels off.Do you guys know what’s settings would be ideal on a Hydra or Radion light for this type of coral?
Did you notice any color deference when doing only cool white? Can you share a picture?I did go into mobius and change the schedule so only the cw leds would come on, but even when the slider ( in the color control tab ) is set at 100%, I noticed on the program graph it shows only a 20% total output
I just changed the schedule. Light isn't going to come on for another couple hours.Did you notice any color deference when doing only cool white? Can you share a picture?
A good explanation of Point intensity vs Schedule intensity can be found here on post #23: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/point-intensity-and-schedule-intensity.737262/post-7696580I did go into mobius and change the schedule so only the cw leds would come on, but even when the slider ( in the color control tab ) is set at 100%, I noticed on the program graph it shows only a 20% total output
I was aware of the difference between the two. Just surprised it was so low. It does make sense, since it's only one channel out of several. On your tank for these corals you only run cool whites for 10-12hrs? And High flow?A good explanation of Point intensity vs Schedule intensity can be found here on post #23: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/point-intensity-and-schedule-intensity.737262/post-7696580
I actually run green and cool whites at 100% from 12:30pm-2:30pm and 9pm-2am. I read somewhere green led helps keep it yellow. There’s two different time ranges to save on electricity for part peak and off peak times. Every cent saved counts on my electricity bill. lolOn your tank for these corals you only run cool whites for 10-12hrs? And High flow?
How much did you get yours for?I was able to get a couple as well and love them..difficult to get good pictures with light...took mine when lights were off.
