That looks great! Plenty of open space for growth and swimming.

Did you crush the rock up or is that a fine sand you found? I'm thinking of using the same technique
Thanks. I used CaribSea special grade reef sand. Yes, lot of room for growth, I'm thinking of adding some rock in the sump just Incase if these are not enough for bacteria.

Honestly, I've done rock in the sump and nothing beats those brightwell bio bricks/plates or spheres. Just gotta size them accordingly or you may struggle to have any detectable nutrients.

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it. The reason I was thinking about putting some rocks was so I can make another small structure out them in the future if needed. I was told that I would start another mini cycle if I introduce more dry rocks in the tank down to the road.

Just finished the scape on my 8’ planet tank. Wanted plenty of room for growth. I have a couple more arches to make but I had to get the rock off the workbench and into the tank so I could continue the flooring in the basement. It will get sand once the closed loop is drilled

Hello from Canada ! Ive been hanging here doing some research for almost 2 years allready but this is my first post. I started my first reef build by ordering a custom tank back in october 2020 but had to step away from my project because I broke my ankle ;Blackeye. Recently I finally had time to work on my rock scape using AF rocks, this is going into a 60x24x20. I will start my own build thread eventually.

Tank is currently sitting in my garage until my leg is good enough to move it on my stand !

Just re arranged my rocks to accommodate my new elegance coral. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised how it came out, since it wasn't planned, but at least the elegance is happy for the room. I'm a huge fan of caves and arches.

Still looking for ideas to scape my 200DD, and want to see more scapes to "inspire" me. Post up your scapes you think look awesome. I still like the "bonsai" inspired ones, but anything is welcome.

Not minimalist in the least bit! Big tank means big Live Rock here.
