I'm curious. What does your daily PH look like? What are you doing to help maintain your PH?

Here's mine
I have a window open next to the tank, and a fan pointed over the tank. A sliding door and another window open in the room with it.
I am also running a refugium with a nice big batch of sea lettuce. Lots of surface agitation and flow as well.

Not a darn thing....does what it wants. 7.88 at night to 8.08 +/- a bit for months. Removed skimmer - no change, added ATS - no change. I keep Alk at 8.5 with All For Reef one part. Low demand softie/LPS tank. I've just never worried about it since it's well within good parameters.

I found my skimmer made a huge difference actually. When I turned it off for a bit, my ph dropped hard overnight.

Here’s mine with the skimmer hooked up to outside air.

In all honesty, I stopped chasing PH. I don't give a flying hoot nanny what's been discovered with elevated PH. I only chase Alk!

Hmm it's so interesting the differences.

I'm curious, do you guys live in city limits or in the sticks?

My house is a "patio home" and not a lot of air flow from outside. Live in suburbs right next to farm land (turning into more suburbs daily). I do not open windows often, partly because wife has asthma but mostly because I LOVE air conditioning. I love the coolness of manufactured air, that semi-stale recirculated smell, the exact temperature I like at the time of day I want it and the quiet hum of the system fan. Paradise.

Surprised really that I don't see bigger swings. My wife loves house plants the way I love air conditioning maybe that helps but from what I've read...probably not. Just lucky maybe.

Also I'm happy now so calibrating my pH probe ain't happening anytime soon either.
