My tangs are BFFs for now...
Tres Amigos.jpg
They look beautiful especially the yellow belly :)

All of your fish seem to be rather small - How big is the largest?
The nori in the picture is 4x4 inches. The wrasse is 4.75 inches snout to tail. The Yellow Belly is 4.5 inches. The blue tang won't let me get a straight photo of it with a scale reference.

Is that a tricolor or a Zebrasoma rostratum x Zebrasoma scopas?
Not a tricolor, but I have no idea anymore what it really is. Used to think it was a flavescens x scopas. It's yellow most of the time, but occasionally he will turn all black.

Looks to me as if he is a Rostratum x Scopas although the nose is hard to see how long it is.

Wishing everyone a blessed Easter. I have decided on our names for the new additions. Naming the Gem Tang - "Monroe" after Marilyn Monroe because diamonds are a fishes best friend. I have two names chosen for the Achilles Tang we can either go with "Sanders" for Hall of Famer Barry Sanders and his days with Oklahoma State or "Moose" representing Mike Mussina for his days with the Baltimore Orioles and finishing his Hall of Fame career with the New York Yankees

I’d personally get a third Zebrasoma if the tank was large enough (If I had the money I’d do a rostratum).

You mean to help with aggression ? Tank is 6ft x 3ft 24 tall
Yes that’s what I mean, then it isn’t 1v1 with the two zebrasomas. I’m no tang expert though.

Makes sense. I would love a rostratum but dont have this kind of coin right now.. i would love to have a purple but from what i read on here they are very mean

I think purples and yellows are around the same aggression scale - Scopas’ are nightmares when it comes to aggression though so I don’t recommend going with them.

"I think purples and yellows are around the same aggression scale"

I put my purple in with a yellow that was quite a bit larger. The purple dominated even tho it was smaller and is now about 6-7" long. The yellow just stopped growing after the introduction of the purple. Not sure if becoming the non alpha (I'm a dog guy too) causes stunting? Unfortunately I lost 2 yellows, a sailfin and kole from a velvet outbreak a few months ago. :loudly-crying-face:
