I just wanted to show off my lil zoa in my micro tank. This will be my first coral to make new polyps (at least the first I've noticed)! I'm so excited!!

On another note, anyone know which variant of zoa these are? I bought it without knowing its name.

Nice it will be fun watching them spread across the rocks, that is a Magician Zoanthid, they have long stalks and big polyps, here is a shot of one from my 75.

Ah fun!! I'll call him Dark Magician then 😂
I'm hoping to have a whole little zoa garden in this micro tank!

what other zoas are you planning to add for the garden?
I don't have any particular in mind other than forever ago I saw an Armor of God zoa and decided that i absolutely had to have one of those. Other than that one, I'm totally open!

awesome! armor of the gods add nice pattern and pop, rastas would look great with them
Oh yes those would be nice! I definitely want all the colors. I dont care how psychedelic it gets. I need some happiness on my work desk haha

Super small. 2.5ish gallons. It's on my work desk and will be a coral tank only due to its size. Maybe a couple inverts if it can handle it.
2.5gal okay nice.

Keep in mind, anything smaller than a 20gal with corals will take a tremendous amount of effort to keep it stable.

I've kept a 5 gallon mixed reef with great success and found that a glass lid makes it so much easier as far as evaporation and salinity but nutrients is more of the numbers to watch

Absolutely. Hence why im having more forgiving corals in the tank. Until i get an ATO im unfortunately having to manually replace water. And with my filter hanging on the back i cant fit the glass lid on it as of right now. The room its in is quite hot in the summer so it has no heater and ive got the top covered with saran wrap until i can cut the top to a better size. This has helped immensely with evaporation.

sexy shrimp are small nice looking and add nice movement
Definitely want to have a few of those!

I also forgot about my lil mushroom coral ive got in here. A few more mushies in the tank would be cool too. They've really grown on me.
