the good thing is so far you have a very very small bio load with just coral and even when or if you add any inverts so it will be easier to manage then other picos

I just wanted to show off my lil zoa in my micro tank. This will be my first coral to make new polyps (at least the first I've noticed)! I'm so excited!!

On another note, anyone know which variant of zoa these are? I bought it without knowing its name.

Always exciting to see corals grow like that!

my five gallon is almost to the year long mark and is getting broken down soon to go to a 15 but its gotten to the point in its filtration that I just feed and do occasionall waterchanges and i dont even test anymore and everything is fine I don't know if its the same for the 2.5 and its always good to test but just remember to not stress out too much on parameters as the tank ages and don't overthink and you'll be fine

Thanks! And absolutely! So far it's just small maintenance like scrubbing the glass. Nothing super concerning. Though this tank DOES have the mystery coral/sponge in it that I posted on the forum a couple weeks ago. Still have no idea what it is. Haha but it doesn't seem to be doing any harm so I'll leave it be.

I have a very well hidden unknown blob that is what I think is a sponge deep in a crevice in my live rock but I leave it too bcs doesn't seem to do harm lol
