Hello all, I found this in my tank and I don’t know what it is, it’s. 13.5 gallon tank I’ve had near 2 months now, is it a parasite? Any help would be great, thanks

Thank you very much, I have no need to worry then?
Those guys are great! If you watch them, they dig little burrows and will come out for stray scraps of food left in the sandbed. Maybe it’s silly but I even rescue them from my filter floss whenever I change it.

I do not find that silly at all!
