Its official. This new transfer tank loves to be clean. Def need to get back to weekly routine with it. Takes all about half an hour to scrape and siphon through 5 micron sock. Something about the sock just polishes the water right up. For days

One of the rare occasions wrasse takes a break from gorging on amphipods and decides to join in on food fest. This is how we feed the lagoon. On the end of chops/tongs until fish have fat bellies.

It does @Mibu im running mine around 170 atm and got full color and polyp extension. Long as params are dialed you shouldn't have any issues

Odd. Mine turned purple under the orbit marine ic. Par reading from seneye said between 320-350. Cut that in half would be 160-175. It's sitting under 350p now. The green is almost all back. I got mine from @SawCJack00 at Epic Aquaculture. I was told 200par minimum. Having said that im running my slimer under a bank of actinic T5 with a mix of led to get me there.

What par was it in when you got it?
How solid is you alk,cal and mag?
All system params stable? Temp, salt etc?
I'm finding it close to impossible to do any bad to slimer as long as I got that stability

alk between 8.1 and 8.5 - calcium at 480 - magnesium - 1450 temps at 78 - ph 8 to 8.15 - nitrates were 15, phos under .05
SG I test it often. 1.026
Also, I don't know what joeknows reefs keeps his corals under.

Try lower par around 200 accompanied by lower indirect but constant flow. Yours looks stressed how mine looks after I move it around and clean stuff. You want it to settle and get color back in the white. They lose alot of color when they stress and slime but regain it fast! My honest opinion it just needs to chill. Alot of peeps start sticks out in lower par when introducing new stick to new system

I did just pick it up. It has regained a lot of color after the change. As I said before, it turned purple under the old lights. It was dying. It's been a few weeks of color returning.
