I clean after each use and the last few times I've had to get that small rubber boot out from inside the pump with a metal pick. Is it supposed to be glued onto the ceramic shaft? I'm thinking no, but I also know that little boot pulled out stuck to the impeller shaft every time, except for the last few. If it does get glued, should I just dab some super glue on there? Thank you!

I don't think it is glued from the factory, but a dab of ca glue probably won't
hold up long term in the saltwater environment. that being said you can always
reach out to sicce, they have a 5 year warranty on the pumps and have good customer service in my experience.

Not sure what you mean, but have 2 similar pumps and many over the years. The little boots come off.
Understood. I've use it maybe a dozen times to run carbon. Each time I've cleaned it, the rubber boot pulled out along with the impeller assembly. But the last few times I've pulled out the assembly, the rubber boot has stayed behind in the pump body & I've had to retrieve it out with a metal pick.

They do have good CS. I'll reach out to them for a definitive answer. Thanks!

Yes same with me, sometimes it comes out sometimes it stays in, I’m only concerned about losing it…haha!
