Osc Clown acting like he’s sick, they’ve all been in the tank for 4 months but this guy the smallest seems to not want to eat all of a sudden. The past 3 days he’s been fasting, hiding and laying down in a cave and he has me concerned. Does anyone think i should do a quarantine?
His fins seem to be unharmed unless someone sees something I don’t.

Once i noticed i did a water change just in case but is there any precautions i should take does anyone think?

I am about to test right now so i will post that within the hour.

I would QT him if he’s not looking well. I can’t see the video being I’m on a phone. But any fish acting out of line should be in QT until you find out what is wrong. Or at least a tank QT basket. It could be he is being bullied had one like that just a few days ago. Now he’s all good.

Quarantine won’t help, the other fish have been exposed if it’s a disease issue.

White clowns are tricky to diagnose - tough to see anything on them, video under blue light makes it even harder.

Isolating it like you did is a good first move,

Finished testing here’s the numbers which seems like its not a water issue atm.

Ammonia:0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:5ppm
Ph:8
Alk: 2.5/7.0
Ca:410
Mg:1240

I’m going to pick up an airstone in the morning because I’m out of them atm. Since he’s in his own space maybe he’ll start moving more and he’s right by the power head so he’ll have some flow at him. The white boys are way harder to tell except for his mouth which was orange but has faded which was my concern, he is the smallest of the 4 clowns which is why i put him in the box also in case he was being picked on.

Any reason I should quarantine now or see how his new arrangement in the breeder box
works out for the lil guy?
