How big do you gets yours to grow to before you stop feeding? Your 320 is huge with tons of real estate.

He’s been closed up more for the last 3 days, but in the photo you can also see

1. He’s growing back tentacles pretty rapidly right now.

2. He’s gaining coloration.

I'm imagning his less puffiness has to do with helping him do this??

You might be right @Taylor t about the color! looks like it's turning more yellow!

I want to keep them small and colorful. I have too many animals in my tank

Looks starved for light. Go to menards. They sell sylvania 250 watt equivalent led DAYLIGHT led flood lamp. I’ve tried quite a few brands and intensities, this lamp seems to give best results I’ve seen so far. Get a clamp on socket it’s quick to install. Add this, 6 hours for a couple days, then go to 8 hours. I promise, in a couple weeks, you’ll be glad as long as it has GOOD flow, good water, you will be happy with what you see. Best of luck, looks like that guy is fighting to survive. It wants more light.

I understand. In my small nano they eat all the time. I only feed frozen foods to the fish so the anemones are always eating. But there is also something exciting about a Mertensii becoming the size of a VW Bettle.

Between the last 3 days he moved and retreated into this super dark rock crevice.

I think I said somewhere he seems to hide from light....

Idk what he’s doin but whatever lol.
