Tailspot Blenny has been flashing since just the day after I added him. Upon closer inspection the clownfish & yellow goby are both fine, so it seems like the Blenny already had whatever this is at the LFS. I saw him flashing yesterday but today he hasn’t at all, but his skin looks different & looks covered in something. I have a quarantine tank ready for him but I want to make sure he’s actually sick and not just settling into the tank. Does he have ich? Velvet? A bacterial infection? Flatworms? Let me know!

Also he doesn’t usually breathe that fast

Your picture isn’t showing up, that probably why no one has answered! Had that happen to me yesterday

Oh sorry about that. It takes like 2 hours to upload these short clips to YouTube for some reason lol, I was just lazy earlier

To me, this seems like the Tail Spot is breathing quite rapidly. Let's see if some of the R2R #fishmedic team can take a look for you.

Good luck!

Sounds like flukes or ich. Velvet the fish would be dead by tomorrow. I see small spots right under its eye. Beyond this hard to say being its behind the rock and only its head is out. Possible to get some body pics? And video? And the lighting is perfect to show issues. Just can’t say much beyond this.
