ive had good success with fish that have ich using the Omega One Flake for Marine fish with garlic. .. i use it as a daily staple along with other foods but i make sure they get this daily. its like their multi vitamin :) all my fish are fat and happy.

also for tangs imo its best to have cleaner fish and shrimp and i feed small ammounts of nori daily instead of 1 full sheet every few days i do 1/3 sheet daily. but just make sure they are getting plenty of algae to eat whether its daily or every few days. i use the Omega One super veggie red seadweed and even my chromis love this stuff and even pick at it off the clip.

Update, after last meeting i picked up a neon goby and another purple psedeuo. Everyone is happy and clean except for the neon goby. It is covered in white specs but seems to be happy and eats. Bought some garlic and attempting to get the the goby to eat some to get rid of the white specs. There is def something going on in the water but not sure what to do. The neon goby wont visit the cleaner shrimp and thought about buying another neon goby to see if they would clean each other.

I also had a red cyno outbreak and i am on my last day of three days with no lights following a good cleaning and water change.

Cyano is a Bacteria and can live without light, The Best way to rid it is to treat with Chemiclean X 2 and be done with it. JMO

Well i will try and get a pic of the goby on the glass to see if the specs show up in the pic. I did read that they were immune to ick so it might be flukes or some other parasite.

It might not be cyno but it was red and slimey. Two days without lights and its gone as well as diatoms. I just took a small powerhead over the rocks as my weekly routine and the remainder algae came right off.

Funny, I've read the opposite about neon gobies. I've read they get ich very easily. Mine got it when I had a small outbreak. As a matter of fact, they had it worse than anything else.

See if it's back in a day or two, If so then it's most likely Cyano and like i said, If not good deal.
