I'm not trying to be harsh - but multiple people have tried to help. The help has been a request to post a clear picture of the fish and a video. I have not even seen the fish clearly - so anything said could be wrong. A fish not eating and laying on its side is an extremely poor prognostic sign. without any data, you could try ruby rally pro in your 'QT' tank per the directions on the bottle. It shoudl help with bacterial as well as parasitic issues. Sorry can't say much more than that?

PS - usually a QT tank has a bare bottom, and non-porous 'hiding places' - which makes observing the fish much simpler - as well as - if you need to treat its easier to know an actual volume - and the medication will not be adsorbed onto the rock. Many people use PVC pipes.

Is the fish breathing too fast?
If you can pick it up in your hand, that means it is "moribund" and close to death, like you said.

The trouble is, we have not had any clues to work with here. It is like if you went to your doctor and said, "I'm sick, what pill can you give me?" The doctor would first need to ask you questions and run tests.

We can't run tests, but a clear video helps us diagnose problems.

@tanglover13 PS - I'm sorry you're going through this - I just want to make a comment - your other fish should go through the recommended quarantine process if thats possible (assuming the tang does not make it)?

He are some pictures
Sorry - can't see much with the netting. It would be helpful to see the fins and the areas you're looking at as damaged.
