So I dose reef code an and b, I did the whole 50ml calibration process, I feel like I was pretty thorough about getting it right. Anyways I’m confident 1ml dispense is much more than 1 ml, broadly close to 4-5. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and did you ever just fudge the calibration less than 50 to just get it to dispense less?.

@JoJosReef runs one of these I believe and @08TRDOFFROAD just set his up yesterday. I have no experience with them.

I just calibrated mine yesterday and haven't spot checked to see if it is actually dosing the 5ml I set it for. Do you have a 5 ml medicine syringe you could have it auto dose into to spot check and verify what it is dispensing? I just trusted that if I calibrated it correctly it should be within the margin of error of what I am telling it to dose.

I could spot test it, when calibrating are you getting a steady stream?

Yes, this can be a concern as you get further into middle age, but I'm confused as to how Tim knew to tag me...
Well, we're about the same age...

Speaking of priming the pump, with Hydros and Jebao you have to fully prime the line prior to calibration.

@ctylermast are you making sure the line is fully primed before calibrating?

It is the same for the simplicity. They state that specifically in the manual too. I ran mine manually for a good 10-15 seconds after I got liquid to make sure it had purged all air from the line before starting the calibration timer.
