Hello all! Looking for some advice. We have a 40 gallon tank with two clowns, a chalk bass, a purple fire fish, a diamond goby, a cleaner shrimp, and a six line wrasse. Our wrasse is constantly nipping and chasing all our other fish and we are pretty sure he bullied one of our fish we lost last week. We are going to rehome him but looking for advice on how to trap or net him the best way? TIA!

Forty gallon is one new brute trashcan and a siphon hose and return pump.

Drain the tank until only a few inches of water remain. Net the 6-line killer pain of a fish and put it in a seperate container.
Refill the the tank, shouldn't take more than 30 minutes for all the water movement and corals will handle the low tide incident.

If the target fish is hiding at only a few inches remaining depth, make a hole in the sand (if you have any) and then continue draining. The fish will move into the deepest hole that has water in it as the flood subsides.

The brute can be returned ofter you rinse and dry it out, if you don't need a new brute.
