ill start target feeding it more, but it should be fine? Im really confused what could have caused it. I can do a lugols dipYou will need to watch this as this can turn into a infection area. Which you may need to treat with LEGO’s Iodine treatment.
No there was a lot of cyano a few weeks ago. I think there might have been an aptasia or There are these like tube building worms underneath it. That build sand into a tube. Hard to explain. Its only partly showing right nowDont overfeed it.
Can be simple irritation from sandbed or a sting ( is there another coral within 3" of it) ?
Can move it onto a flat rock, sometimes sand does get onto it, i can even see the skeleton anymore today. I just went to check on it, and an aptasia detached and was sitting in its mouth was not happy, I plan on raising it up a bit in a low par area. These corals are found on reef walls not in the sand. Many times fish get into a moving sand on the coral and they do not like it.
Ya its looking a lot better alreadyThe coral revive worked really well for me! If it starts looking a bit more rough, I highly advise you give it a shot :)
Also be sure to test your water parameters and make sure everything looks good.
Ya, my ai prime was essentially almost over it, i moved the tank a few months ago. Still need to adjust the light positioningThey are more of a low light coral.
