Skimmer advice if possible

Hi folks
Any advice to sort a small fluval skimmer ? It's been fine for weeks,then yesterday it filled up with water,to the point of overflowing.I cannot settle it,it just keeps filling with tank water in an hour or so. I haven't altered any of the twiddley knobs so not sure what to do
Any help and advice gratefuly received

check the airline for being plugged

Have you dosed anything or put greasy hands in the tank ? Turn it down until it calms down.

Thanks folks,I think im just struggling lol Air line is ok and I dont think I've had greasy hands in but maybe lol I shall see how it goes .Thank you both
