skimmer for a 180?

I am debating between a eshops S200 or a Reef Octupus SRO 3000INT. Pro/con on these? I hear the reef octupus is LOUD? Is this all models? The tank and skimmer are in my basement.. noise is an issue but so is pulling out the crud!
