okay I have the swc 150 great skimmer kicks but but my pump went out its still under warranty i have not yet talked to swc but i was wondering should i be panicking on trying to get a skimmer asap any recommendations?

Can you tell us a little about your tank?? specifically about what your stock list is , how big your tank is, and flow??

not sure where you got it but im sure luke33 "reef filtration" will get you a new pump out and have it in your hands with in a couple days.....just change like 10 percent of your water in the next couple days.... are you running a fuge with any macro algae etc???? i went for almost a year without a skimmer on my solana and i was vodka dosing " A BIG NO NO" so they say lol..... keep on top of water changes and all should be well....

yeah i already spoke with luke hes going to get me a replacement out... I just wanted kind of an estimate on what precautions to take you know what i mean.

I have about 120 gallon system water quality is on point 0 nitrates 0 phosphates i am running a fuge. My stock list is pretty light. I think I am just going to do a decent water change this weekend and I should have the pump early next week. I think I am going to buy a back up just in case this happens again...

thanks for the offer dom ill see what happens he said he would get it out tomorrow... if he does priority 2-3 days i should have it possibly sat or mon and i think ill be alright im getting ready to do a water change today and then possibly do one mon if it doesnt get here by then..

Doing two water changes in less than a week is an overreaction, imo. As beaslbob said, you'll be fine until the pump arrives. There's no reason to rush.

If you're that concerned, just cut your feedings down to a minimum and do a water change when its all over.
