It seems my skimmer does awesome for 3-4 days. Once the neck gets dirty I feel like everything gets trapped there. Should I just skim more wet to solve this problem?

The only other solution is to clean out the cup/neck more often.

It's an MSX 200 with BB3000 pump.

I run into the same issues if I skim really dry. Skimming wet fixed the issue. Now I clean the skimmer about once a week and it works great.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
