I have a Berlin skimmer and need to get a new pump. Do I have to get a pump that is venturi driven? I was going to get a Jebao WP-2000 but wasn't sure if it would work for my application.

No, you don't need to get a venturi driven pump, its up to you, just need to get one that will fit the plumbing is all.
