I was just curious what is a really good skimmer for a 30g IM Nuvo? I know what I like for big tanks. I'm just a little uncertain about Nanos. Would one of the reef octopus skimmers be a good choice?

I don't have the eshopps, but I have the Tunze, which is still breaking in. My recommendations are based on what I have heard and seen used in the reefkeeping community.

In my 30L I run a Tunze 9001. After a few weeks it starting to pull some skim off. It's in the main camber so my water level fluctuates a but (have Tunze ATO). It seems to be taking longer to break in than my Reef Octopus on my larger system but its slowly getting better. I do have a really light bioload.
