Skimmer recommendations

I just got the IM 100 gal INT and was looking for some skimmer recommendations from people.

I currently have a redsea E-170 with Nyos 120 but not sure if I want to stay with Nyos. Was thinking of going with a reef octopus regal 150SSS but I wanted to see what the community thoughts were.

I’m a big fan of made in the USA Lifereef skimmers. A Lifereef SVS-24 would be perfect for your tank volume. You’re fortunate enough to be about an hour away from Lifereef in Morrison, CO so you may want to pay Jeff of Lifereef a visit! :)

Hi I just came across this old thread as I’m trying to figure out how to set up my new Octopus Classic 150-SSS ... wondering if this is the one you have and if so any info that could point me in the right direction? The cup just fills up in minutes with water

I'm running a R.O. with the varios pump. It's dead quiet. I connected the drain on the skimmer cup to a plastic container. Was able to cut a hole in the top of the container and insert the float valve for the pump and it shuts the skimmer off if for some reason it gets too ful.
