give a price range and you will get answers.. me personally i would say a atb 10.5 but were talking a little more than average price... the new octo cones look very promising also with the bb pump...

i would try to keep in mind a couple things while looking for a good skimmer
are you looking for a hang-on?
what kind of space you have for the skimmer?
under the stand? how much heigh do you have under it?
in a sump what is the foot print of the sump area?
do you need it to be an external or internal skimmer. with some of those answer , i am sure someone can better help you out.

Its gonna go in a Rubbermaid stock tank so plenty of room..I'm looking to spend around $600 to 1k...I can get it at cost except for ATBs so u can suggest anything slightly higher than 1k..

I would go with a ATB or BK skimmers. The service with ATB IME is hands down.

go over to the Reef Filtration Sponsor thread and take a look at the new SWC180 Cone skimmers...
Luke is an awesome guy to deal with and he's a sponsor to boot...!!!

You could always pay more for a skimmer if you'd like, or you could buy a really good skimmer and spend the rest of your money on some killer fish & corals!!! :D
