Need an idea for a Skimmer. But the rub is that I am limited in space. The sump is 24" long 10" wide and 12" tall and I am limited to total height so the Skimmer needs to be under 16"

What size display? Tunze makes the shorted skimmer I know of for larger tanks.....say ≥ 75 Gallons. Check out the 9410.

I'll see if it will fit. The price is right (all pun intended) and it may just fit though it's 17" tall.

I know its hard to rationalize the $, but get good equipment now, instead of buying the marineland and getting the better one later.

I'm voting for a tunze skimmer as well. Great price point for a top quality skimmer.

Says it's made in the USA! Wow!

Go Marineland! (They're totally off-script with this! Love it!)

I say good luck.....keep us posted!

It's just about 16" tall. The problem is that I am doing everything on the cheap. I have a new kid so you all know how that is ( no $$$$$) left for anything else lol.

Saving up is the most-correct answer in that case.....save a buck or two a day (or per week) until you have the right budget.

Then make sure you shop for USED gear. Pelple do sell top-quality gear, but patience may be required.

The good part is that you don't need a skimmer until you can afford one. :)

Just take it slow with the tank over-all – which you should be doing anyway if you're on a budget! :) :)

I have had the corals I have now and the fish for several years. The problem is that the old tank cracked so it was emergency tank and stand. Going from 75g bow front to a 65g tall so non of my old stuff would fit. And on top of that a new baby. Fun times. I was in spazz mode lol.
