Hey everyone,

I’m planning on building a false wall for an in wall tank. The tank itself will be supported by 2x4s and plywood. If sealed properly, would MDF be suitable for skinning and adding cabinet doors to this wall without swelling?

Also any recommendations on best type of sealer?

Thanks

If sealed right it will be fine. I bought the MDF cabinet option from sca 6yrs ago. No damage so far. I’m also funny about keeping my tank and stand clean.
