Well I have a bit of an update from today. I gave away my two big Monti Cap colony's. They were just taking up too much real estate so it was time to go. The tank looks a lot different without them.

I obivously haven't seen pictures yet, but I think you made a really good call on removing the caps, skinz! Without a doubt, they were beautiful; however, I think you're really going to like the new-found reef-estate.

Haha yep, it sucks though because I grew them from 1" frags. I did just add 3 other SPS frags one of them being a Stag so yeah I should have the space filled in in no time.

Tank is looking good. Did you get the cap out in one piece?

Awesome. Are you putting something in its place or letting things grow out?

Letting things grow out. It really didn't have a spot, I broke the rock it was on by accident so it was sitting in the corner on the sand.

going old school man.. I really like this morph. I still remember getting my very first frags/mini colonies that included the GBP morph. that was like early 00's. still an awesome morph but you don't see too often anymore. glad you still have them. :)

Skinz, tank is looking better. How is the battle with the cyano and the ha going? Hopefully the tank will stay on the upswing for ya.

Nice pics. Things seem to be growing well.

Thanks, I can see new growth on some of my SPS daily it seems.

I love them, they are some of my brightest zoa's. I actually didn't know what they were until I did an ID thread the other day...lol

Thanks! The Cyano is pretty well gone and the HA has made a bit of a come back, I lost my Lavender and Naso Tang like on the same day. They looked great just disappeared and I never found them till I saw bones come out of the rocks one day. Ever since they died I have noticed more HA.
