I just got an AquaticLife 100GPD 4 Stage RO/DI Unit. I have no idea how these things work yet!
I want to SKIP the DI section, can I just not put the DI cartridge in that chamber and leave it empty? Will the system still run without the cartridge inserted in that section?

Thanks!

Gotcha. I don't think its harmful even tho some say it is but there no reason to waste the resin. I put a tee in my system before the di resin. It goes to my pressure tank under the kitchen sink where we have a faucet for drinking water. It Also supplies the ice maker and cold water for the fridge. I got huge likes from my Gal because she thinks I put the system in because doesn't like our tap water. Win win lol

Yes, that’s a fine plan if your water has suitably low levels of problematic chemicals. I’m considering doing it after careful checking of the very detailed report from my water company.
