Sky high shipping prices

BRS needs to fix their shipping supplier issue fast. The last 3 items i was looking to purchase (salt and sand) had an outlandish shipping cost. $55 worth of sand was going to cost me $123 to ship. Petco would ship it to me for free, so guess where I had it shipped from. 46 lbs of salt was going to cost me $126 to ship $80 worth of salt, petco was free, guess were I purchased my salt. I wanted BRS mini carbon reactor with pump ($65) but with the $31 shipping I could shop other suppliers and get the same or better product for less. I have voiced my rant to them with no response. I guess they feel that they can profit from shipping also.

For the last time; please support your LFS and pay the price for in stock items before the last brick and mortar store closes.

Cause when it happens there will not be any place to run.

I just received an order on Friday that contained multiple buckets of salt and it shipped free. Just checked their site and it still says free shipping on orders over $49.

weird. i just had to place an order. i qualified for free shipping :thinking-face: ( sorry, my lfs doesnt carry much. but i buy from them whenever possible;))

I just received an order from BRS. Four 40 lb bags of sand, 2 heaters and some glue. Shipping was $3.99.

Maybe a temporary glitch with their website. They still offer $3.99 shipping, or free if you are willing to wait longer. Aquaforest salt was half off so I ordered two buckets Wednesday and already received them today.

I just bought a new tank, cabinet, sump free shipping, just call them on Monday something went wrong there shipping hasn’t changed

Free shipping is still in effect for the vast majority of us. I say vast majority because I’m sure there are some stipulations I’ve never cared to read

problem resolved, I was getting shipping quoted for priority mail with no other choices.

It appears to be my more my fault on this and I apologize, I have been using BRS for most of this build I'm doing and have nothing but good to say about BRS service, do not know how it came about on my address list getting changed, could have been me. But problem has been identified and repaired.
