Used 65 gallon modification with slim overflow unit for full siphon operation. Slim box has main drain and backup/emergency within single unit. No external rear box or durso, muffler required. Very quiet, no cavitation or air gurgle. Control gate valve used to match main drain to main pump flow. Frees up the inside of the aquarium for aquascaping and with no rear box no rear box maintenance. Plumbing similar to silentservice submerged overflow units only vertical.

That is extremely sleek! I wonder if algae will build up quicker because of the size...
