So uhhh...I'm leaking testing all of my plumbing for a new setup, tank has been filled for a couple days with just RO water and I decided to try out the new algae scraper when I came across this little bubble, so ran the scraper over it...nothing. It's not on the inside or outside pane..but within the glass itself. Cosmetically, idc at all..it's about the size of a pen tip.

The glass is tempered. Is this a cosmetic defect or possible structural issue? This is the only spot on the 3 panes of glass that I see this.

Found this thread: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/bubble-in-tank-glass.244655/

I'll ask again just in case. :)

Unless you have fish or inverts that knock stuff over or you knock stuff over a lot and you're getting rock on glass impacts regularly I wouldn't worry. It's kind of cool honestly.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
