Small bunches of tubes

I had a group of tubular things under a rock. It didn't seem to bother anything so I left it. It just broke off and stuck in my power head so I was able to get a better pic of the stuff. What is it?

Do you have a sea hare in your tank? They look like eggs to me.

I do, he/she has been in there for 8 months now. I move the sea hare to the sump so it can eat hair algae once every 3 days. Was an impulse buy because my wife loved it and now I'm a slave to trying to keep it well fed!

Then I will definitely say sea hare eggs. They will end up as free fish food.

Awesome! I'm guessing something got into them and launched them around the tank.
