UPDATE:
Jebao has updated settings and in Random mode and you CAN now set intensity!!!

I got my two DMP-20’s running yesterday with one criticism of the programs. I have always used random flow for my tanks, and, sadly, you can’t program the intensity of the flow when they are in this mode. This option is only available in Sine mode, Classic mode and Constant mode. Just be aware if you are dead set on wanting wave-makers running in random mode and need them running at less than 100%. They are strong, and mine are runnng at 30% in Classic mode so Random wasn’t an option. :(

This is the same program that all the Jebao use?

Not sure but this has been noticed by others that have received the dmp. Random flow mode apparently lacks a max speed setting

Yep, that's the ONE issue I've had with Jebao app controlled pumps. It is a limitation in the app for all pumps/gyres... No "maximum" setting for random mode.

The one upside is that they offer a wide range of pump sizes, so if you know you want random, you can find a pump more appropriately sized. I tend to run powerheads on the smaller size for this reason and a few others.

I’ve only used the sine wave on mine.

I also run my second one as a slave - I wish you could set the time it ran …but in that mode you can only set flow rate lol

I’m using classic pulse in cross flow, and really like it so far. Still a bit disappointed in not being able to pick maximum flow in random, but the functions of the other programs are really nice too.

I would assume it runs at max flow?

I believe they have since fixed this issue.

Can these be dialed down as low as the its earlier cousins or do they go lower ? I am looking at maybe getting one for my WB10.
The slider to set them doesn’t go below 30%.

This is exactly why I don't use Jaebo for flow pumps. Use them for return but the programming is extremely function limited on flow pumps.

Love the jaebo. I can set the time the master runs….could not run the second as a slave….but it works
