Anyone know of a small UV sterilizer I can use for a coral QT tank? Its only 20gal and it does not have a sump just running 2 HOB filters.

This might be better for what you are using since this one has its own pump

buy a cheap lamp mount/put it into some pvc and direct your filter return to pass water thru it. mine is feed from the spill overflow from middle chamber. you can drill the exit hole to suit your flow rate through it

I dont normally peruse PETCO for professional reefing gear BUT I noticed a small unit made by Fluval (UVC inline clarifier)
it was about $100 and a small inline unit….
IMO the biggest consideration is/are replacement parts like bulbs and reliability …
Anyway, it was definitely PETCO

I used the GKM 9w, worked great! Note: the replacement bulbs are pretty much the cost of the unit because of the design. So thats
not great...

This GKM 9w looks easy and cheap what I am wondering is it powerful enough for free floating parasites? Algae I am not too worried about but since this is a QT tank id like it to have enough "oomf" for both.

The flow rate is pretty slow, which is what you want.
I do have a Aqua ulta violet 15w advantage HOB that I picked up from a fellow reefer on here that was only used for a month that I would be willing to let go for what I paid for it. $140 if that would help.
