9 months ago I got a purple Stylophora always wanted one, well my urchin snapped the piece in half leaving me with two small branches and the plug.
I stuck the plug in a hole in a rock and basically forgot about it. Today I really took stock that it has grown over the break and has started to branch.
It's pretty amazing as I never really seem to notice it until today.
I know it's just a stylo, but I love that deep purple and it's tough.
Here's a little progression.

I love purple stylo too. Just curious how you know your urchin did it because I have been blaming my emerald crabs for a long time about this.

I had it up on a rack initially and in the morning the urchin had the branches stuck to him and the plug base was on the tank floor along with a few frags, yeah it was my urchin lol

Meatball, my urchin is always in the thick of trouble.

I was curious because I found a branch cut off too and my emerald crab had a look of guilt on his face.

I have two emerald crabs now, but I think they are too small yet to get in trouble, they are both the size of dimes, but I agree they look like potential trouble lol
