There's a thread in the large tanks forum where the guy combined the TaoTronics Bridgelux / Budget LEDs with T5s and is getting some very, very nice results. Just a thought. :) I'll see if I can dig up a link when I have more time.

I use bridgelux leds and t5s and am having great results as well.

New impeller came in and is installed. Early results are leaning towards better.

Guess which one is the new one....

moved over my undersized external skimmer (180 gallons) last night until i can get my existing skimmer off my old system. also started running carbon to help remove in impurities from all the PVC pipe, glue, new sump, and whatever else.

added ~90lbs of dry/live rock into the tank 2 nights ago... the rest i will pull out of the existing system as it becomes available. water is a little cloudy from stirring up the sand.

i have the 2 koralias in there until i get my 2 mp40s off the other tank... i will keep the koralias in there behind the rock work on the back glass i think?
