A little lacking on updates but have a few more pics. i had a 10 gallon tank drilled to hold my skimmer, but i cracked the bottom of it so upgraded to a 20 gallon tank and i am much happier with it. i have all my returns (2 from display, 1 from frag tank) coming into this tank through filter socks on the left and overflowing back into the 100 gallon rubbermaid.

i also installed my tunze osmolator last night.

ok, its only been 3 months since my last update (work and tank porblems). im sure my club thinks i dont exist anymore. a lot of lurking, not much typing.

a few things have changed. the temp in my tank got a little warm for a few days. APEX said otherwise but 3 other temperature devices said about 3 degrees more. anyways lost a few LPS (frogspawns, torch) and knocked out a few montis... it was either that or me adding to much GFO at once. cant determine. things look steadier now...

anyways, more updates to come soon as i will be adding my canopy this weekend that will house my new DIY LED/T5 combo fixture. 120 3W LEDs and 3 80W T5 bulbs. ive taken a few pictures along the way and will post soon. here is one for starters...

coming along very nice. sorry to hear about the problems. we all go through it. temp is always a factor. do you have a chiller? and like seeing your going with led, that will deff help with heat, thats for sure. mh is a killer. keep the updates rolling, enjoy!

I do have a chiller at the moment ... The heat is being caused by the pump... Gotta try something different....

You are going to be really happy with that fixture. The tank should look really good with all those colors mixed the right way.

Dude.... That's freakin' awesome. Looks all professional and stuff, I wouldn't have expected much less from you though. Good job. Can't wait to come check it out.
