I have had this Derasa for almost 2 years. Has grown very well, almost too well. It’s a good 9” now. This morning the sun hit the tank and I noticed these snails(?) near its Foot. Are these pyramid snails? I have a melanarus and six line. Will they eat them if they can get to them? Any advice? Should I try to manually remove or leave them be?

thanks!

Looks like the dreaded pyramid snails which will take it down. Remove every one you can find.

+ 1 on pyramid snails. Time to scrub scrub scrub and pick every single one off. U might have to do this several times until they are completely gone.

Thanks everyone. The scrubbing will commence tomorrow am.

You must added some new clams in the last 6 months or so?
