I had a hard time finding an ID online. Maybe cantharus? Didn''t look like any of the Nassarius. Not sure whether to keep or toss.

try looking at reefcleaners.org... they seem to sell a lot of snails... maybe you can find a match (fyi - never bought there, just happened to look through their extensive snail selection the other night online)... (...no one ever said before...)

LOL! I just found the same snail in my Tampa Bay Salt Water order. I couldn't find anything earlier. I didn't put it in the tank.

Looks almost identical to some Nassarius I have but will let others be the judge as I can’t tell the difference but when in doubt toss it out.

Any other opinions on an ID before I get rid of this to be safe?
I would toss it, the shell color makes the probability high its a predatory snail, my tongan nassarius are quick enough to eat something under the weather, I would be scared of that thing going in my tank.
