can someone tell me the type of snail this is? Wondering if it’s good or bad since I didn’t put him in the tank intentionally.

i cant fully see the trunk of the snail. if it's banded, a whelk snail. toss the whelk.

if the trunk is freckled, nassarius, safe to keep.

Reminds me of the Dove snail (Columbellidae sp.) and the Nano conch (Maculastrombus maculatus). They multiply in aquariums and can clean surfaces that larger snails cannot reach. There is also considerable demand for them.
