Snails Reproducing

Just saw my snails squirming a milky substance into the water. At first it worried until I realized this is how they reproduce and is a sign of a healthy ecosystem.

My question is, will coral consume these gametes?

Maybe some will get picked up in the skimmer and possibly coral but the confined space of an aquarium IMO would concentrate the gametes and increase the odds of fertillization. My first Trochus snails had spawned and personally I agree that it's a sign your system is doing good and you will have the added benefit, of small snails getting to places larger snails cannot. It saves you from overspending on multiple species of snail like adding Stomatella to get into hard to access area's, swooshing the detritus from places flow and brushes wouldn't go.
