I’ve noticed that most of the corals I got when my tank was “ new stage” have mostly stalled out. I’m just getting them to start growing now. My king Fiji hasn’t done much in almost a 1.5 years while my wwc pink panther has been doing great.

I added a fun little toy to the tank today. I added an avast swabbie auto neck cleaner to my vertix 180i. It has great reviews compared the vertix neck cleaner. Set up was a breeze. The motor Is dead Silent. You can’t even tell it is on. Only time will tell how well it works!

yea thats my cherry bomb! its a giant weed that doesnt stop growing! i recommend low par for cherry bomb! i have a few frags in low light and they have this vibrant green base with red polyps. if i could move this colony to lower light somehow i would

Good to know. Haven't gotten a frag of the Cherry bomb yet, but was gonna put it in high light when I did, so thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to rethink a spot for it!

This weekend I have been messing around with the tank a lot! Between the scare of the big hurricane, getting ready for an upgrade and macna.

Btw macna was extremely disappointing. People didn’t miss a thing. Have the vendors were gone by Sunday morning. It was so bad they were not charging for parking nor entrance to the show.

In preparation for the new tank build in the near future Ive begun taking apart my frag tank. The idea is to stack dry rock in the frag tank for the next month or so until the tank arrives so it can start seeding with bacteria.
