Sneaky's 225 gallon!

i feel you! its a love hate relationship with them! i had 2 emerald crabs that i had to banish to the sump

Yeah... Half my fish are trusting little snack sized gobies. My neon thought everything wanted to be friends, including my hands and frag tongs. Crabs would eat the hell out of him lol

Frag tank stand is almost complete. Only thing left is to prime and paint. Then the real challenge of figuring out plumbing begins

Welllll I now have a 110 gallon tank. I need to sand the stand door a little more but the stand/ tank is in place. I need to by a longer light bar and another xr15 or xr30. I haven’t decided which I’m going to go with.

Overall I’m quite happy with how it’s turning out

What’re the dimensions on your 60 gallon?
It is 24x24x24. I am in the process of breaking it down and moving everything into a 120. Been happy with the light. Corals looked nice under it and my overall intensity was only at 30%.

Nice! Good luck with the new tank. Thanks for the advice. I was on the fence about if the xr15 would be sufficient

I don’t know the dimensions of your frag tank but I wouldn’t think 1 xr15 would be enough for a 24” cube.

24x24x12. I figured a xr15 would be fine and if need be I can get another later down the line

The new tank set up is complete!!

That system looks beautiful, very nice indeed!

And great pictures

No they are plumbed to the same sump. Kept it as simple as possible
It shouldn't be too much work then. Your new addition may go through an ugly phase even though it's all the same water. Once you get past that it should be like having one large tank.
