So I’ve had a Wartskin angler for around half a year now, and I just recently found out that you can have eels in Hawaii, you just can’t buy them from a fish store as they are illegal to import or collect for commercial use. Snowflake eels are quite common in Hawaii, so a few trips to the tide pools should have good results.
Also, my Wartskin angler is around 4 inches long and is fully grown from what I can tell. Could I keep him with a snowflake eel? The tank he is in is 3 feet long, so not ideal but still good. I have a lid that is tight fitting to prevent escape. I’m just worried it would see sushi as food.
I’m hoping I can find an eel under a foot long.
